Global Furniture Group is looking for a detail oriented Customer Service Representative to join our Global Contract division. The position is based 100% on-site at our North York location.


GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES


The Customer Service Representative is accountable for ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers through our Canadian dealer network and sales representatives.

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for acting as a liaison between customers and the various internal departments, maintaining appropriate records and promoting our products and services.


SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Implementation of the Customer Service Process and Procedures while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Effectively resolving customer and manufacturing identified issues
  • Responsible for professionally addressing customer requests for adjustments on orders and providing appropriate feedback on any issues that may arise
  • Respond to internal and external customer needs in a knowledgeable, professional manner
  • Demonstrate a solid knowledge of our products, price guides, installation manuals and order flow.
  • Contact dealer representatives for any missing information on orders and process accordingly.
  • Review order acknowledgements and report any discrepancies within 48 hours.
  • Print, file and scan any correspondence with reference to all orders.
  • Process and distribute specials and change orders.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Post secondary education with a minimum 2 years Customer Service experience, preferably B2B focused
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to multitask.
  • Able to work in a fast paced, deadline oriented environment.
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office, Google Suite, and AS400.
  • Knowledge of the office furniture manufacturing industry is an asset.
