Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a small property management team, providing guidance, support, and motivation to ensure high performance and achievement of goals.
- Oversee the daily operations of property management activities, including maintenance requests, lease administration, tenant communication, and property inspections.
- Collaborate with the external accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting, timely rent collections, and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Develop and implement effective property management strategies, policies, and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and improve tenant satisfaction.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, objectives, and performance expectations, and provide training and development opportunities as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, open communication, and a customercentric approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and prompt issue resolution.
- Monitor market trends and stay updated on relevant industry regulations, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement in property management processes.
- Handle escalated tenant inquiries, complaints, and lease negotiations, ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on property performance, occupancy rates, financial metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, with a focus on team leadership and operational oversight.
- Strong knowledge of property management principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully leading and managing teams, fostering a positive work environment, and achieving operational objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with tenants, external partners, and team members.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.
Salary:
From $80,000.00 per year
