Overview:


The Quality Inspector is responsible for verifying and certifying the compliance of the parts by measurements and tests in relation to the technical documentation.

Performs dimensional and geometric inspection of products and units, before, during and after installation, as required.


Responsibilities:


  • Visually inspect parts
  • Performs controls (dimensional, geometric, physical, etc.) to demonstrate product compliance with specifications
  • Write parts inspection reports
  • Write reports of noncompliance when necessary
  • Makes sure to use calibrated measuring instruments
  • Calibrate measuring instruments when required
  • Offering technical support in metrology to production

Skills:


  • Validation of measurement and assembly compliance
  • Precision and analysis
  • Communication
  • French and English (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of measurement tools and means
  • Computer tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project)
  • General knowledge the product
