Description
The Director of Clinical Informatics is currently seeking a Clinical Informatics Analyst. The purpose of this position is to work collaboratively with stakeholders, technical experts and/or vendors as required.

Using critical and creative thinking the Clinical Informatics Analyst analyzes, prioritizes and translates user needs and requests related to the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

This position offers a flexible hybrid work environment consisting of in-office and remote work. Office location is 500 Church St in Penetanguishene, ON._**
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the implementation of the Electronic Health Record
  • Act as a key change agent and champion to facilitate implementation and adoption of processes, continuous improvement and optimization
  • Develops implements and monitors standards for service and performance, simplifies workflow, triages and manages issues

Requirements/Qualifications:


  • Postsecondary education in clinical, health science, information technology and/or health informatics OR
Current registration in good standing as a regulated health professional with health informatics experience

  • Preference for Meditech experience
  • Proven experience with project management
  • Demonstrated success with change management process, redesigning clinical processes and/or business processes
  • Proven understanding of and experience with needs assessment and analysis methodologies
  • Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
  • Demonstrated leadership, analytical, interpersonal and problemsolving skills
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to adapt readily to change
  • Models and promotes core ethical practice, Waypoint Values, and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
  • Preference for proficiency in French/English language
