is a North American leader in the transportation and logistics industry, operating across Canada and the United States through its subsidiaries.

The TST-CF Express LTL I.T.

department supports multiple TFI International operating divisions out of its Mississauga and Calgary locations and has an immediate opening for a Help Desk Technician in the Mississauga office.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware.
  • Upon request create, disable and reset passwords for user accounts.
  • Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software.
  • Install computer peripherals for users.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Escalate complex issues, priority issues or those outside your scope to Level 2 support.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution and satisfaction.
  • Document all helpdesk interactions in our ticketing system.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a helpdesk or customer service role.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent technical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Experience with Google Workspace and Office 365 administration a plus.
  • IBM (iSeries) exposure a plus.
  • Above average English communication skills a must.
This position comprises primarily of day and early afternoon shifts with some flexibility on hours. Periodic Saturday night shifts, along with rotational after hours on-call is also required.
