Reporting to the Assistant Vice President, Mental Health Solutions, the
Director, Mental Health Product Development will be accountable for the oversight and evolution of Group Benefits' mental health product shelf.

We are looking for a strategic thinker with a passion for improving health outcomes, a strong product leader with proven ability to drive business growth, and a team player who loves to lead teams and be part of a fast-paced culture.


What will you do?

  • Product vision and strategy: evolve the mental health product vision, with keen focus on driving business growth, shaping the industry through innovation, and maintaining market leadership.
  • Product development: drive product development from concept to implementation, including feasibility, business case, project initiation & oversight, gotomarket planning, and value realization. Work collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to bring product vision to life.
  • Product management: assess product performance across all levers and optimize continuously for maximum value.
  • Team leadership: lead a team of Product Managers and build a bestinclass team through providing effective guidance and coaching.
  • External relationships: manage vendor relationships and cultivate strategic partnerships.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Ability to 'get stuff done' in a complex and fastpaced business environment.
  • Highly developed leadership and influencing capabilities, ability to effectively manage relationships across the organization to deliver against objectives.
  • Experienced people manager and product leader, drawing on experience from both domains to build strong product team.
  • Strong strategic orientation: ability to identify and pursue opportunities that will either build on or extend our business model.
  • Proven balance of analytical and creative problemsolving skills, ability to focus on the critical business issues in a datadriven and factbased manner.
  • A thought leader, inquisitive and comfortable in challenging the status quo, infinitely curious.
  • A good understanding of the Canadian mental health landscape and the group benefits industry.
  • A university degree, post graduate studies in management would be considered an asset.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience (product management, strategy, health tech).
  • As this position is posted in several locations, bilingualism (French and English, both oral and written) is required for Quebec only for the frequent interactions with English and Frenchspeaking colleagues or internal partners across Canada or worldwide.
