("SafeSight") is a privately owned underground mining operation innovation company providing end-to-end 3D data solutions, on-site surveying services, and custom innovations to Canada's largest fully operational underground mining companies.
At SafeSight, we strive to provide safe, accessible solutions to all our clients to ensure foremost the safety of their employees and we deliver efficient and operational insight backed by extensive experience in mining engineering, software engineering and robotics.
Our primary focus provides 3D mapping technology in GPS-denied environments using LiDAR automated data collection and simultaneous location and mapping algorithms.
Position
SafeSight is participating in the IRAP Youth Employment Program and is looking for a

Responsibilities
As a
Marketing Intern on our team, your role will involve:
- Video Editing and Production:
- Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)
- Editing and enhancing video content for promotional purposes
- Collaborating with the creative team to produce captivating videos
- Ensuring highquality visuals and storytelling
- Product Photography and Videography:
- Experience in product shooting and photography
- Capturing compelling images and videos of our various products
- Showcasing our offerings effectively
- Digital Marketing:
- Assisting in the execution of digital marketing campaigns
- Managing social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, etc.)
- Creating engaging content for online channels
- Monitoring and analyzing campaign performance metrics
- LinkedIn Understanding:
- Familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional networking platform
- Crafting engaging posts and articles relevant to our industry
- Building and maintaining our company's LinkedIn presence
- Performing all other duties as assigned or required
IRAP Youth Employment Program Eligibility Criteria
- 15 to 30 years of age at the start of the internship
- a Canadian citizen, permanent resident of Canada or person granted refugee status in Canada
- a first-time participant in a Youth Employment and Skills Strategy work experience program targeted at post-secondary graduates
Essential Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 6 months of experience in digital marketing, video editing, and/or product photography
- Proficiency in video editing software
- Strong attention to detail
- Creativity and an eye for aesthetics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
