GFL Environmental is looking for a Site Attendant to be b ased out of our Horn Hill Waste Transfer Site location As a Landfill Attendant, you are responsible to ensure that the landfill site is operating in a neat, tidy and cost-effective manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct trucks as they unload
Must have excellent writing skills
Satisfy customer needs for service.
Proactively participate in GFL safety culture and training
Report any incidents
Working in a safe manner
Punctual and excellent attendance
Comfortable working with the public
This is primarily an outside job and you must be prepared to work in inclement weather
Safety footwear is required
Driving to different sites and assisting where required and needed
Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required
Required to have a valid driver's license
Self-starter, motivated and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment
Strong relationship and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills in oral and written English
Strong ability to follow oral and written instructions properly
