The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for
Kitchen Steward Supervisor who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including
K-Days and
Farmfair International.
- Ensuring the upkeep and preservation of the ware washing rooms, chinaware storage room, cleaning/noncleaning storage room and food preparation rooms.
- Setting up & maintaining all service stations, clearing stations and food plating areas so they are ready for their purpose.
- Ensuring all requisitions from the banquet, culinary and other departments are completed and positioned accordingly.
- 2 years experience working in a hotel/convention setting
- Postsecondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related program is considered an asset
- Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
- Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and the SDS (Safety Data Sheet).
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Flexible work schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, Nights, and weekends.
