The Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for
Kitchen Steward Supervisor who will be vital to executing the events coming through the venue, including
K-Days and
Farmfair International.

- leading the Kitchen Stewards and Kitchen Porters in cleaning and sanitizing all flatware, glassware, and silverware, maintaining cleaning tools and supplies, and storing them in designated areas.

Ensuring the upkeep and preservation of the ware washing rooms, chinaware storage room, cleaning/noncleaning storage room and food preparation rooms.
Setting up & maintaining all service stations, clearing stations and food plating areas so they are ready for their purpose.
Ensuring all requisitions from the banquet, culinary and other departments are completed and positioned accordingly.
2 years experience working in a hotel/convention setting
Postsecondary degree in Hospitality Management or a related program is considered an asset
Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and organizational skills
Knowledge of health and safety, food safety, and the SDS (Safety Data Sheet).
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
Flexible work schedule with the ability to work mornings, evenings, Nights, and weekends.
