We're looking for a Human Resources Coordinator who will act as a bridge between our employees and our HR Management Team.

This role will address issues raised by current employees and new-hires, while organizing and scheduling orientations and coordinating other HR functions such as training and development.

This role will also focus on ensuring that HR processes and documentation are meeting legislative requirements.


As Human Resource Coordinator, You Will

  • Prepare orientation newhire packages
  • Enter new hire data into the payroll system
  • Maintain records and overall integrity of employee record filing systems, ensuring privacy and confidentiality standards are met
  • Ensure HR processes meet legislative requirements
  • Verify completion of all new hire documentation, followup with employees and ensure that proper documentation is received
  • Ensure all background security checks are completed and report or escalate results accordingly
  • Respond to HR communications
  • Maintain HR spreadsheets and databases ensuring information is accurate and monitored regularly
  • Work collaboratively with various departments and all levels of employees
  • Perform administrative aspects, including filing

Requirements:


As Human Resource Coordinator, You Have

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Some postsecondary education or completion of postsecondary schooling (preferred)
  • A Major in HR or Labour Studies (asset)
  • At least 2 years of HR experience
  • Ability to learn a variety of software programs
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to multitask and selfmanage your work day
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, time sensitive, innovative and always changing environment
  • Extensive people skills with the ability to interact with employees at all levels with diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to establish and enforce organization standards
  • Ability to adhere to all organizational policies and procedures
  • Ability to plan and monitor for results
