Position Overview

The Tester is responsible for testing a variety of systems and softwares.

Key Job Responsibilities

Develop and implement software and information system testing policies and procedures
Design, develop and implement information systems business solutions
Conduct reviews to assess quality assurance practices, software products and information systems
Navigate through equipment to find functionality issues
Report issues found into a database
The tester may be asked to perform specialized testing
Testing handset software and hardware on live networks in a mobile or stationary LTE, GSM, and/or CDMA environment
Perform field testing (drive testing) in designated test areas for various operators
Use logging tools to collect the data from the field to be analyzed by others
Testing of devices based on Android and iOS, as well as other operating systems
Conduct carrier acceptance tests on equipment in various form factors (smartphones, data only module, M2M and telematics devices, etc.) and at various points of hardware development cycle
Perform software / hardware testing
Run test cases based on standards and collect logs, ensure they are based on specs

Must be well organized and capable of supporting a group of people
Must have excellent interpersonal skills
Must pay attention to detail
Need to be flexible to work on different projects
Need to be proactive and a selfstarter to figure things out on their own to complete deliverables.
