Position Summary:

This position will also work with WELL Health subsidiaries, providing hands-on support to help organizations within the WELL umbrella mitigate risks, implement controls and achieve ISO 27001, HIPAA and other compliance goals.

What you will be doing:

Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Contribute to the development and execution of risk assessments and risk management strategies.
Monitor business activities for compliance with rules and regulations, engaging with subsidiaries to drive compliance and report on key priorities and initiatives.
Participate in developing and delivering GRC and Privacyrelated training content for employees.
Contribute to preparing management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
Support the GRC team in managing relationships with regulatory agencies and other external parties.
Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure compliance efforts are current and comprehensive.

You have:

Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., information security, law, healthcare privacy, information technology).
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a governance, risk, or compliance role.
Working knowledge of GRC software tools.
Understanding of relevant legal requirements and controls (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, HITRUST, PIPEDA, PIPA-BC, PHIPA, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or similar certification is a plus.
