Position Summary:


This position will also work with WELL Health subsidiaries, providing hands-on support to help organizations within the WELL umbrella mitigate risks, implement controls and achieve ISO 27001, HIPAA and other compliance goals.


What you will be doing:


  • Assist in designing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of risk assessments and risk management strategies.
  • Monitor business activities for compliance with rules and regulations, engaging with subsidiaries to drive compliance and report on key priorities and initiatives.
  • Participate in developing and delivering GRC and Privacyrelated training content for employees.
  • Contribute to preparing management reports regarding compliance operations and progress.
  • Support the GRC team in managing relationships with regulatory agencies and other external parties.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory developments and industry trends to ensure compliance efforts are current and comprehensive.

You have:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., information security, law, healthcare privacy, information technology).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a governance, risk, or compliance role.
  • Working knowledge of GRC software tools.
  • Understanding of relevant legal requirements and controls (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, HITRUST, PIPEDA, PIPA-BC, PHIPA, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, etc.).
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or similar certification is a plus.
