Maintenance Technician_ to join their team This is an exciting opportunity to work with a company that is real, thoughtful, and forward thinking.
The Role
As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for contributing to the company's operational performance through maintenance program compliance and work order scheduling including reactive and preventative maintenance for technical and non-technical components.
You Will
- Understand and lead compliance with both Health and Safety and Food Safety practices.
- Attend breakdown calls. Independently troubleshoot and resolve both mechanical and electrical issues.
- Escalate recurring problems to supervisor and work on eliminating them.
- Perform minor repairs, equipment set up, change over, overhaul, fabrication as needed.
- Perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including food mixer, slab forming machine, horizontal wrapper, robotic pick and place system, case packer, tunnel oven, conveyors, etc.
- Provide technical assistant / advice in Preventive Maintenance optimization effort.
- Assist outside contractors and ensure GMP policies are being adhered to.
- Perform work in accordance with established maintenance processes and practices including but not limited to recording work done, recording data for analysis, logging spare parts consumed, cleaning up work area, etc.
- Participate in cross functional continuous improvement initiative.
You Have
- 5+ years' experience as a Maintenance Technician, Millwright Mechanic, and/or Electrician
- Ability to read technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Proven machining skills using lathes, milling, and drill press
- Handson experience with the following is _
a plus_: power transmission systems, electric/electronic controls, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, welding, brazing, and soldering, servo and electric motors, lubrication types and systems - Working experience with equipment such as vertical wrapper, horizontal wrappers, robotics pick and place, tunnel oven is _
an asset_ - Knowledge of PLC, robotics, HMIs, and controls _
preferred_ - Ability and willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Salary:
$28.00-$44.00 per hour

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
