This is a senior level position within the Maintenance Team, licensed building operator, journeyman plumber and kitchen equipment experts are welcome to apply

Some of the tasks that you will experience in this position are:

Complete daily rounds of all areas of the building, monitoring the operation of the Complex's infrastructure, and making adjustments as needed to ensure it runs efficiently, or advising Chief Engineer of any required maintenance
Guest room, restaurant, and public area preventative maintenance projects
Review daily reports for deficiencies and prioritize their completion
Review, prioritize, and complete all Preventative Maintenance Requests generated by the PMXpert Software and assigned by the Chief Engineer
Consistently update monthly passon with completed and pending projects, parts requirements and timelines
Clear communication with all other hotel departments as it pertains to maintenance requests and guest calls
Understand and be able to demonstrate the responsibilities in the Emergency Response Plan in correspondence with your position
Be involved in all Departmental Meetings and contribute to the growth, development and presence of the Maintenance Department.
Perform other assigned comparable or transient duties that are within the domain of knowledge and skills required by the position description

Job Requirements:

Ticketed trade/certificate or designation a strong asset
Previous hotel experience an asset
Adaptable to flexible and oncall schedules as business needs dictate (may include weekends, evenings, holidays and overnight periods)
Excellent time management, verbal and written communication skills
Basic computer knowledge
