Job Description Summary:

As the Ultrasound Product Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for selling GE Healthcare Ultrasound products or services and maintaining relationships with existing named accounts.

Specialized knowledge in breadth and depth, as well sales experience as an expert in the field will be necessary to execute the job.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Generating proposals, preparing sales quotations, planning customer meetings, and demonstrating equipment capabilities on Ultrasound products in assigned territory.
  • Maintaining satisfactory aftersale relationships
  • Penetrating competitive accounts and communicating current market intelligence back to the business, along with field concerns, issues and requirements.
  • Providing leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive Ultrasound sales
  • Prospecting for new customers and business in addition to growing and maintaining our existing customer portfolio
  • Annual and quarterly achievement of multiple sales and revenue target.
  • Development of longterm customer relationships coupled with the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree & 5 years of experience; OR high school diploma & 8 years of experience; OR Bachelor's degree & a graduate of GE HealthCare CLP
  • Previous Healthcare capital equipment sales experience
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking and IT
  • Robust interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze customer data and develop financially sound sales solutions
  • 5+ years of demonstrated strategic selling skills including customer presentations, price quoting, closing and growing a sales territory
  • Proven customer acumen and relationship building skills in a healthcare environment
  • Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solutionbased sales process
  • Strong written and verbal communication and clear thinking skills with the ability to synthesize complex issues into simple messages
  • Solid process orientation, demonstrated resource management and allocation experience, and the ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge of the Canadian Healthcare industry and market place trends
  • Fully Bilingual in English and French
  • Willingness to travel 50% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs.
  • You must be legally authorized to work in Canada without restriction.

It is a condition of hire that any new employee or contract worker that will provide products or services to a GE HealthCare customer facility are fully vaccinated and provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination.
