job responsibilities: Some duties will include, but not limited to is providing:

  • Providing weekly menus,
  • Add a diverse selection of meals.
  • Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • develops shopping lists and do the shopping
  • Maintain a budget.
  • Understand dietary restrictions for individual children.
  • Calculate proper potion sizes of food for children,
  • Create fun nutritious snacks.
  • Organizes and cleans all areas of the kitchen.
  • Maintaining proper temperatures of food
  • Maintain a sanitary kitchen according to health department standards.
  • Keep daily logs of food temperature and refrigerator/freezer temperatures.
  • CPR Level C
  • Current Criminal Background Check
  • Food Handlers a must

Salary:
$18.00-$22.00 per hour

Education:


  • Secondary School (preferred)

Experience:


  • Cooking: 1 year (preferred)

Language:


  • English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)

  • Day Shift (preferred)
