Lead Shuttler - Calgary, Canada - Avis Budget Group
Description
Organize the transport of vehicles to and from and within locations safely. Ensures agents maintain proper placement and conduct final inspection of all company vehicles to ensure readiness for customer rental. Essential duties and responsibilities, shown below, will vary accordingly based on assignment.What to Expect:
This is a leadership position within the shuttle group where you will be responsible for ensuring on time deliveries and pickups to/from all locations as needed, ensuring operational success and financial profitability through planning and a proactive approach.
Shift availability - 2:30PM -11:00pm Monday-Friday
Prerequisites for the position:
- An understanding of the shuttling process along with good decision making and excellent planning skills.
- A team player with the ability to appreciate and work alongside a diverse work force.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Organizes transport of all vehicles to and from and within locations safely.
- Assists rental return agents in maintaining smooth and safe traffic flow throughout check in area.
- Trains Shuttlers in proper placement and final inspection of all vehicles to ensure readiness for customer rental.
- Communicates with all levels of employees regarding car inventory and availability.
- Assists all customers with inquiries and concerns in a positive and friendly manner.
- Follows quality assurance standards as issued by the organization.
- Notifies dispatchers or company mechanics of vehicle problems.
- Notifies management of any employee problems requiring attention.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1year customer service experience.
