STUDENT SUPPORT ADMINISTRATOR

LEARNER EXPERIENCE


NorQuesters are difference makers and we're searching for someone who can find ways forward in providing excellent customer service to applicants, learners, and prospective learners as they navigate the functions of the Office of the Registrar.

Reporting to the Team Lead of the Student Support Centre, the Administrator acts as a primary point of contact.

Maintaining a thorough knowledge of NorQuest College policies and procedures, the Administrator responds to front-line inquiries resolving or directing as required.

The goal is to provide superior service through multiple communication channels electronically and in-person.


HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Answer inquiries from students and prospective students, through multiple channels, providing appropriate resolution or direct to other services.
  • Answer incoming calls, to the college switchboard, for general information and referrals. With the goal of a onecall resolution perspective when possible.
  • Manage ID card photo process and distribute student ID cards.
  • Strictly adhere to FOIP legislation by ensuring that all student information is treated with the appropriate level of security and confidentiality and that student or government issued ID and authorizing release of information forms are presented when applicable.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Postsecondary certificate, diploma preferred ideally in the area of office or business administration.
  • 1+ years' experience of related customer service experience. A combination of education and experience can be considered.

  • Critical thinking skills to find innovative solutions and identify when and with whom to implement appropriate risk management and intervention.
  • Knowledge of FOIP.
  • Experience working with Student Information System (preferably PeopleSoft) an asset.

SALARY:
$43,988 - $57,175 reflective upon what you bring AKA your education and experience. This is a full-time term position to June 30, 2024 with the possibility of extension with immediate access to our great benefits program.

This competition will be used to fill future openings for Student Support Administrator within the next 3 months.
