Mazda of Hamilton is looking for an
Accounting Deal Clerk
Reporting to the Controller, working collaboratively in a positive and service-oriented manner, this person will be primarily responsible for processing new and pre-owned car deals, as well as wholesale car deals & dealer trades and day-to-day accounting

Job Duties:

Reconciling and posting new, preowned, wholesale and dealer trade car deals
Preparing and submitting daily EFT payments to pay out vehicles
Monthly vehicle schedules reconciliations.
Posting journal entries for bank EFT's
Bank Deposits
Preparing and posting monthly remittance cheques
Accounts Receivable
Accounts Payable
Helping with other tasks as required
At least one year of automotive deal posting experience preferred or comparable
Software proficiency (Office 365, Excel Skills, adaptable to CRMs and ERPs)
Strong ethics, integrity, and discretion
Advanced communication and analytical skills
Excellent attention to detail and accurate data entry skills
The ability to work independently and manage a workload of fluctuating priorities especially meeting regular workload completion deadlines
Experience with PBS is an asset
Ability to succeed with background check
Reliable transportation to and from the workplace
