- This is a fulltime inperson role at our head office in Toronto
Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper & Operations Assistant at a high-growth company, you will be working closely with our Sales, Marketing, Engineering and Customer Support departments to provide the necessary support each individual business team needs on the accounting, bookkeeping, and operations side of things.
- Receive, process, and manage orders from customers and coordinate with our suppliers
- Complete customer invoicing, payment processing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Prepare and complete bank reconciliations of bank statements
- Maintain and update accounting records, including general ledger, payroll, bank reconciliation, customer reconciliation, sales tax reconciliation, etc.
- Complete a variety of data entry and reporting tasks related to daytoday business operations
- Communicate with customers and suppliers to coordinate payments, shipments, and contracts
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, or operations experience
- Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets, and dataentry with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience with one or more accounting systems (e.g. Quickbooks, Xero, etc.)
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills (English) with samples of content
- A university/college/postsecondary degree is a must, recent graduates welcome
