HR Manager - Kanata, Canada - IMG Logistics Inc
Description
Responsibilities:
- Play a critical role in the implementation of HR Transformation solutions that will support priorities and agile transformation journey
- The role requires independent thinking, thought leadership and execution of areas such as understanding and contributing to organizational design
- Understanding talent and resourcing requirements managing workforce planning, identifying skill gaps and recommending solutions
- Advising on difficult employee discussions, coaching business leaders through change
- In collaboration with our internal teams, craft talent strategies that highlight future skills implications for the enterprise, business function and workforce
- Primary responsibilities will be designing and deploying workforce transformation tasks, including but not limited to understanding skill gaps on transforming teams and advising leaders on best solutions to staff their new team according to the agile
- Partner with the L&D (Learning & Development) team to establish learning paths for critical roles and to design learning curriculums that align to our product team competencies
HR DELIVERABLES
- Participating and contributing to org design activities and managing successful deployment of the new structure
- Required to work on skill and role gaps
- Develop and deploy Workforce strategy (to close skill and role gaps)
- Build learning paths for critical roles
- Be a key contributor to developing learning curriculum
- Develop new / revise job descriptions
- Workforce transition planning
- Having employee interest conversations
- Support the transition plan & execute the same
- Manage resource requests for teams undergoing transformation
Must Have:
- 2+ years of experience with transformation / org restructuring work, preferably in a technology environment
- 2+ years of experience in progressive technology organization that have product team structures
- Ability to work independently or collaborate effectively as part of a team
- Solid knowledge of HR and Talent best practices
- Client Service orientation with demonstrated success in collaborating with internal stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and problemsolving skills
- Ability to adapt to a changing and fastpaced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational capability
- Strong to excellent skills in using software such as Office 365/Microsoft tools
- Demonstrated understanding of the Employment Standards Act of Ontario
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION:
- Completed university degree or college diploma in Human Resources Management or Business / Commerce (required)

Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Salary:
$70.00 per hour
