    How you will contribute

    You will operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products.

    As a Forklift Operator you will:
    Load outgoing trucks and unloads incoming trucks at the shipping bay.

    Compare identifying information and counts, weighs, or measure items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.

    Fill out a Receiving Report to document cleanliness of product and truck and to ensure proper temperature.
    Examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.

    Pick (assemble) the order if on the night shift to aid in speedy and efficient loading when truck arrives the next day.

    Mark shrink-wrapped product/skid with destination information.

    Unpack and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.

    Routes items to departments.
    Operate lift truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area.
    All other duties as may be assigned.

    What will make you successful
    Has good communication skills, is well-organized and able to work efficiently and accurately.
    Forklift certified on Counterbalance & Walkie (Raymond Reach would be considered an asset)
    Computer literate and able to read bar codes

    Work schedule:
    Day Shift, Monday to Friday.

    Physical Demands
    You will stand/sit for long periods of time.
    You will engage in frequent bending, stooping or squatting.

    Due to the environment, you will work in various weather and temperature conditions which include extreme heat, humidity and cold.

    You will work in tight or enclosed spaces.
