We are currently looking for an
Energy Delivery Resource & Document Coordinator to join our Energy Delivery Scheduling team in a permanent position.

Reporting to the Manager, Energy Delivery Scheduling you will be responsible for entering and maintaining field resource information in NS Power's work scheduling systems and maintaining documented Operating Procedures for various teams including Energy Delivery Services, Regional Operations and Emergency Storm Response.

Energy Delivery Resource & Document Coordinator

you will:


  • Addition and removal of resources.
  • Crew assignments (including people and vehicles).
  • Update of resource skills including addition of new sills in system, and assignment to resources.
  • Update of resource availability.
  • Update of resource geographical work areas.
  • Restoration event (Storm) Resource Management:
  • Supporting the territory Operations Managers and Administrators with the tracking and maintenance of the resource information (resource, crews, geographical region) for field crews supporting the restoration of customers in storm situations.
  • Collaboration with multiple business departments on document development and control:
  • Establishing document review schedules.
  • Participating in Document Control Committee meetings, as required.
  • Coordinating teams for the creation and review of new Operating Procedures.
In this role you will work collaboratively with many departments and resources across the Energy Delivery teams. Your work will be a positive, critical influence for work planning, and trouble dispatching.

You will have opportunities to learn about the many areas of our Energy Delivery business through the oversight of SOP development and maintenance across multiple departments.


You will be responsible for your personal safety and that of co-workers by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations.

You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.

You must be flexible and be available for overtime during peak seasons and after hour emergency service restoration.


What skills will make you successful?

  • You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
  • You possess a post secondary education.
  • You have a minimum of five (5) years related experience managing multiple projects, managing documentation libraries, and technical resource administration.
  • You are a team player who is a highly analytical, creative problem solver with strong communication skills.
  • You are a strategic user of technology tools such as Maximo, Field Service, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office.
  • As this position may require travel, you must possess a valid driver's license with a clear driver's abstract. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
