    Job Description:

PURPOSE OF POSITION:


As a member of our Finance Team, you will provide accounts analysis, reconciliation and processing services for all FSRA accounts payable, accounts receivable, charge back and journal entry transactions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing all incoming invoices related to the operations of FSRA and regulatory body secretariats for direct payment and purchase order payments.
  • Administering financial transactions on FSRA financial management and reporting system.
  • Providing information services to FSRA management, staff and external suppliers related to FSRA accountings payable and change back processes/guidelines.
  • Compiling/creating financial analysis/data to support audits.
  • Analyzing. reconciling and reporting on FSRA lease payments and capital assets.
  • Maintaining and supporting FSRA's invoice tracking database and other FSRA internal financial management systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:


Specialized Knowledge and Experience- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles and practices, financial management and reporting processes and systems to conduct accounts/payable review, verification, analysis and processing responsibilities, monitor expenditure trends, analyze/reconcile transaction information to support accounting processes.- Demonstrated knowledge of accounting reconciliation, analysis and reporting and financial audit processing and requirements.


Skills:

  • Proven reasoning and organizational skills to review, prioritize and process a high volume of accounts payable and charge back transactions.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills to respond to inquiries and to prepare summary financial information/analytical reports.
