The Operations Implementation team is accountable to ensure Network Change Ticket (NCT) requests are implemented to: ensure information is complete and accurate; ensure relevant approvers and technical review is completed by stakeholders; help prioritize changes to meet business priorities and avoid unplanned customer impact incidents; oversee the implementation and complete the required closure of NCTs.

The team is also accountable for oversee complex changes in the maintenance window with network partners and primes on network change implementation process aspects.


What you will do:


  • Responsible to ensure change management policies are adhered to by implementing parties
  • Responsible to ensure changes have the required Operational resources assigned
  • Accountable to proper closure of NCTs occur in a timely manner
  • Accountable to perform Service Validation postchecks at the conclusion of activities and the window
  • Responsible for ensuring relevant approvers and technical review is completed by stakeholders

What you bring:


  • Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in telecommunications networks
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cable, wireless and wireline telecommunications network technologies and operational processes
  • Undergraduate University degree; Engineering degree is an asset
  • ITIL certification or process management experience is an asset
  • Strong communications skills written and oral including strong listening skills
  • Critical thinking skills to assess the key facts and inquire further for the pertinent details to assess risk
  • Decision making skills to make decisions and recommendations on limited information
  • Skilled in influencing others and collaborating to get the right result
  • Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization
  • Leadership skills previous experience leading teams of professionals is an asset
