Bilingual Summer Library Assistant - Lawrence, Canada - York University
Description
Purpose:
This position provides a wide range of circulation and reserves services in the Leslie Frost Library from a public service desk in person, by telephone and via library's on-line system.
Education:
High school diploma
Experience:
Some experience providing customer services to the public is preferrable.
Skills:
Basic key boarding and excellent customer service skills.
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public in both English and French.
Additional Notes:
Ability to move e.g. bending, reaching and lift library materials up to 20lbs when re-shelving books, pushing and pulling loaded book trucks.
