Description
***Managing and overseeing the order fulfilment process for assigned projects for equipment ranging from, but not limited to, turbo blowers, screw compressors and positive displacement blowers. This requires reviewing, analyzing, evaluating, recording, and managing customer orders from intake all the way through post-delivery activities for all disciplines involved in the scope of the project (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and control).

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Initiation
  • Read and analyze sales orders and customer specifications to prepare order documentation for processing. Clearly understand objectives, scope, purpose, and deliverables to be produced. Request information and clarification to ensure customer requirements can be met fully and effectively. Ensure any issues or risks that may impact the project have been identified, resolved and/or are being mitigated.

Planning

  • Work with the sales, engineering, procurement and production teams to create a project roadmap to plan and set phases, activities and tasks needed to deliver the project. This will include, but not be limited to, schedules, resources, BOM, job documentation, production orders, and any other items stipulated in the customer quotation and specifications to comply with the sales order. Provide knowledge and support to customers, vendors, engineering firms, purchasing and production regarding orders and project specifications; comply with non
- disclosure agreements and other contractual restrictions that may limit the transfer of information.

Execution
  • Manage the production of each project to ensure accuracy, efficiency, timeliness, and quality. Manage any changes, risks or issues that arise in the project. If required, create, and update a working budget for each project. Communicate and document any changes to the correct stakeholders. This may require meeting with customers, coworkers, vendors, and any other interested parties. Delegate and follow up on tasks, negotiating solutions and keep all stakeholders informed of project status.

Records Maintenance

  • Prepare, track, and follow up on job submittal files and purchase orders. Utilize the standard operating procedure for all job files and documents relating to the job/project and at the request of the customer. Complete the functional description, equipment instruments list, logic diagrams, controls descriptives and owner's manual.

Closure

  • Identify project completion criteria by keeping track of any outstanding activities or deliverables. Inspect and provide final project signoff prior to shipment. Coordinate hand off to Customer Support for postshipment activities.

Required Documents

  • Prepare, compile, and distribute submittals, O&M Manuals, technical manuals, Data Books, VDL and any other documents required or the job/project and at the request of the customer.

Controls & Measures
  • Review, create and report on assigned project portfolio. Identify the project successes, deliverables, achievements, and lessons learned and communicate this to all stakeholders of the project. Make use of ISO 9001 for nonconformances, continuous improvement, corrective and preventive actions.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, or DEC in engineering technologies, or AEC in Project Management with relevant experience in a mechanical field.


Certifications/Licenses:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.


Experience:5 years of related experience.
