Sales Executive- Forestry Cedar - Coquitlam, Canada - 77 Consultants

About this Job:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer cedar sales into an established customer base
- Sell cedar lumber into targeted North American markets
- Create and add value by achieving further downstream market penetration
- Coordinate with production manager and inside sales personnel to adjust sales mix to meet production requirements
- Identify and develop value added opportunities that address production opportunities
- Provide vacation relief as required
Qualifications
- Demonstrate a proactive ability to anticipate customer needs
- Attend customer vendor meetings and sales events
- Comfortable with making and receiving inbound/outbound phone calls
- Ability to problem solve in stressful situations
- Strong negotiation skills
Technical Skills:
- A basic understanding of log manufacturing and cedar lumber remanufacturing is considered an asset
- An understanding of logistics
