Opportunity

AIMCo is seeking a strong, strategic, and innovative partner to develop and lead the Talent Management program as part of the broader People Strategy for AIMCo.

Fostering an inclusive culture of world-class talent is one of AIMCo's strategic priorities and the Manager, Talent Management will take the overall lead in delivering the performance management, talent review, succession planning and employee development programs that enable the development and retention of world-class talent.


The Manager, Talent Management will provide thought leadership and execution support around all aspects of talent management and work closely with leaders and HR business partners to infuse the organization with a talent mindset and develop talent strategies.

You will bring a collaborative perspective to ensure a sound understanding of development needs across all elements of the business to deliver the corporate strategy and future growth.


Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and evaluates a talent management program including talent reviews and succession planning. Focuses on developing a flow of talent that dovetails with succession in all key business functions on a global scale.
  • Ensures talent management plays a key role as part of the overall business strategy, i.e., proactively shapes and implements the AIMCo talent strategy, translating external best practices, strategic business priorities to build an inclusive culture of worldclass talent
  • Works closely with HR Business Partners and senior leaders to reinforce the merits of ongoing talent initiatives including driving an ongoing "talent dialogue" with senior leadership
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to define key talent strategies to develop talent segments
  • Champions DEI into all aspects of the Talent lifecycle (e.g., succession planning, key talent identification and development)
  • Identifies and implements new strategies that establish AIMCo as a thoughtleader in talent development
  • Collects, manages, interprets and analyzes talent data, with the ability to diagnose issues, provide recommendations, and present data driven recommendations in a succinct way to support talent strategies
  • 8+ years of previous HR experience with a focus on Talent Management
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level degree with a concentration in Business or Human Resources Management
  • Demonstrated expertise in talent management including the implementation or leadership of a talent management program
  • Subject matter expert in Talent best practices and emerging trends
  • Experience in a datadriven environment in which data is used to identify development strategies, operational efficiencies and implement improvements in programs
  • Outstanding business partner with demonstrated consulting and collaboration expertise
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to AIMCo's core values of excellence, transparency, humility, integrity and collaboration, and inspires the same in others

Success Measures

  • Results will be achieved by designing and implementing our Talent Management program, as part of the organization's People strategy within the Workday HRIS
  • Spearheads company's talent review and succession planning
  • Improve our Talent data collection, reporting and accountability including benchmarking against our objectives.
  • Identifies and implements new strategies that establish AIMCo as a thought leader in talent development
