In this role you will handle transactions and provide a high level of customer service to clients through a variety of registration and enquiry services to ensure the integrity of land registration records.

As part of our dedicated and highly skilled team, you will help to deliver world-class services that impact the 6.63 million parcels of land across the province.

What can I expect to do in this role?: In this role, you will:

  • Provide general clerical and administrative support
  • Examine and interpret legal descriptions
  • Register and process documents and writs of execution using automated databases
  • Accurately collect payments for services rendered
  • Organize and index land registry records
  • Reconcile deposits and purchasing cards
  • Maintain and operate office equipment

How do I qualify?:


Communication and Interpersonal Skills:


  • You have political acuity, tact and discretion to work with a wide range of professionals, colleagues and the general public.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills to respond to complex client enquiries/concerns in a courteous, clear, and concise manner.
  • You have experience prioritizing work in a team environment to ensure that work is processed in a timely manner.

Technical Knowledge and Analytical Skills:


  • You have analytical, evaluative, problemsolving and interpretive skills to determine compliance with legislation and guidelines.
  • You have experience reviewing documentation for completeness, assessing documents for irregularities or concerns and determining eligibility of plans.

Mathematical Skills:


  • You have mathematical skills to compile data and calculate simple fractions to map and identify physical boundaries.
  • You have experience reconciling payments, completing calculations and preparing reports.

Computer Skills:


  • You have experience using a variety of standard office equipment (e.g., printers, photocopiers, fax machines).
