Hourly rate offered:
$22,40$/hour

Status :
Permanent, Full-Time (40 hrs and +)

Work schedules are :4pm to 12:15am (evening shift) or 12:00am until 8:15am (night shift)

Job location :47 Minas Warehouse Road, New Minas, NS

_ THE BENEFITS WE OFFER _

Permanent, full time position;
Overtime is paid (time and half on week days/1 and 3/4 on weekends);
Safety equipment provided (except safety boots);
Starting at 22.40 $ per hour;
Benefit plan and pension plan provided.

_CHALLENGES WE OFFER_
Working at our New Minas Feed Mill, this position could involve various tasks including:

Running equipment;
Milling bags of feed;
Mixing and/or weighing product;
Loading and unloading shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive; heavy lifting, and use any necessary equipment, e.g. lift truck, forklift, etc.;
Inspecting incoming and outgoing shipments to verify contents and quality.

YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE
The successful applicant will be a strong team player and will:

Be physically able to repeatedly lift 25 kgs);
Have basic computer skills;
Have a commitment to safety;
Have great attention to detail in all areas of work;
Have general knowledge of safe work practices and safe lifting methods;
Be comfortable working with heights (ladders with safety railings);
Be able to work in a dusty environment.
