The Mining, Oil and Gas Branch is responsible for the development of Manitoba's mining, oil and gas resources through the delivery of appropriate tenures and regulatory services, all of which are highly dependent on current legislation, regulations, policies and best management practices to ensure the province is positioned as a global leader in the sector and emerging critical mineral market.

Qualifications:
Essential:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to work as part of a team, maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and deescalate conflicts.
- Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with the public and staff over the phone and inperson.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to prepare, edit and format documents with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage interruptions, establish priorities, meet deadlines within tight timelines and manage high workload.
- Ability to work independently and under mínimal supervision.
- Experience working with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and databases.
Desired:
- Knowledge of mineral or quarry tenure administration practises, procedures and processes.
- Experience providing front line service to the public that includes the responsibility for accepting and processing payments.
