Job Title:
Business Support Services Team Lead


Reports to:
Chief Executive Officer


Job Summary:


Role and Accountability:


  • Ensure the Business Support Services department is accountable for providing excellent customer service to the rest of the organization and its external partners. These include but are not limited to; Farm Operations, Processing Operations, and Marketing.
  • Ensure that the elements of Support Services including Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, and all general office functions are meeting the goal of excellent customer service. This will require a focus on both systems and processes, as well as responsibility for the performance management of the individuals in the department.
  • The Team Lead will drive the team through Level 10 meetings and represent the department at management Level 10 meetings.
  • Must be aware of safe work practices as they relate to job responsibilities and work environment and understand the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Adhere to all Schuyler Farms Limited policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties appropriate to the role as assigned.

Education and Experience:


  • 5+ years experience in team management within a progressive, growing business.
  • Experience in integrating within existing teams.
  • Experience and expertise in any or all functions of the department. Including Human Resources, Information Technology, Finance, and Accounting is an asset.
  • Education in leadership, management, and business is an asset.
  • Valid Ontario G Driver's License.
