Your role at Baxter


As a HR Operations Analyst you will be responsible for providing exceptional support and service to the Canadian HR organization in the critical areas of ongoing employee data management and administration, employee data integrity and privacy, HR transactions and workforce management systems (Workday and SharePoint Tools), HR Processes and HR Reporting and Compliance.


What you'll be doing

  • Ensure privacy, quality, accuracy and timeliness of data with respect to daily workforce administration and data integrity in all HRMS systems (Workday HRIT Tools, HR SharePoint, DayForce)
  • Analyze, identify root cause, develop and implement solutions to data process and data integrity issues
  • Ensure the ongoing documentation of data processes, requirements, maintenance, currency and alignment to local and Baxter Global HR and/or Data Management policies
  • Extract and analyze data to ensure accuracy of information and reporting
  • Participate in the designing, testing and rollout and stabilization for new/updated HR processes involving technology
  • Support and participate in the data and process requirements for the annual salary administration process (ACR, Annual Compensation Review) as needed in Canada
  • Serve as HRIS & Payroll liaison
  • Maintain complete and timely HR records by ensuring employee filing systems are kept up to date, private and secure
  • Support Talent Team and local onboarding
  • Responsible for maintaining content on Canada HR SharePoint sites (e.g. Policy, Forms, SOPs, Announcements) and ensuring positive and valuable knowledge experience for users
  • Provide Administrative Support to DayForce Time & Attendance management and other databases
  • Post employee announcements, employee Verification Letters on request
  • Ensure current and valid process documentation in place for all critical tasks
  • Complete Biweekly/Quarterly and Monthly Reports
  • Partner with policy owners and process stakeholders to ensure consistency and alignment of policy to HR technology, data, processes especially as polices are introduced and updated
  • Ensure HR policies are posted to HR SharePoint in simple, timely and accurate manner for employees and management
  • Lead weekly, monthly and quarterly audits to review and data integrity audits for all locations ensuring all SOPs comply with Quality documentation requirements
  • Serve as local HR Data Privacy Contact
  • Produce and Provide regular HR Metrics/Dashboard

What you'll bring

  • Bachelor Degree required HR Certificate or Designation (completion or in progress)
  • 5 plus years or more of HR Systems, HR coordination and HR administration experience preferably in an external client facing capacity
  • Business Analysis & Process Knowledge
  • Previous experience in time sensitive, deadline driven environment (i.e. payroll, data processing with offshore partners)
  • Management of private, confidential and sensitive data
  • Previous work experiences managing, analyzing and using data in Excel
  • High comfort level in interacting and navigating across multiple levels within organization and with external partners
  • Experience managing Reward and Recognition tool
  • Proficient user of Workday is preferred
