As a part of this exciting team you will also be responsible for project planning, schedule building, risk identification, project plan execution, business reporting, meeting management, project presentations, system maintenance, data entry, and process training & development.

The Program Delivery Consultant position is categorized as a Connector, which means that the incumbent will be working with a variety of colleagues and partners to achieve business outcomes that require a mixed use of virtual and CTC campus presence.


What you will do

  • Work with the Consumer Brands team (across Product Development, Branding, Packaging) and crossfunctional teams (Merch, Quality Assurance, PRO, LRO) to maintain critical project milestones of small to mediumscale projects against an established process
  • Maintain excellent working relationship with key project stakeholders
  • Build and track a project plan; hold stakeholders accountable to key milestones
  • Lead weekly/biweekly crossfunctional meetings to discuss project status, lead working sessions, facilitate discussion, identify project risks, ensure projects remain on track
  • Collect and report on project KPIs through Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) software
  • Develop, and execute against a communication plan that updates on project status weekly, milestone completion informs, and change to plan informs across multiple stakeholders at different organizational levels
  • Articulate benefits and risks of key decisions and options to help gain alignment and drive decision making across stakeholders
  • Perform project planning analysis to help quantify benefits of various project paths
  • Maintain some financial accountability for assigned projects through adherence to predefined Owned Brand strategy and objectives

What You Bring

  • Postsecondary education in Business Administration, Project Management or related field; Certification/experienced in Agile project delivery an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years experience, which includes experience managing smallsized projects
  • Highly effective relationship management skills with a track record of facilitating conversations with crossfunctional teams
  • Organized and detailoriented, able to tackle multiple projects with varying scope
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate with colleagues at various levels of the organization
  • Superior leadership skills and presence; highly developed sense of accountability, passion and track record for delivering results
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills with demonstrated ability to adjust style and format as required to suit the audience
  • Strong business acumen skills; demonstrated expertise of retail marketing, consumer trends, brand management or product development
  • Expert proficiency of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint; MS Visio knowledge an asset
  • Some proficiency / exposure to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or similar software an asset
  • Core PM competencies:
  • Timeline, Scope, Risk/Issue management
  • Critical thinking, conflict resolution and effective mediation and influencing skills.
  • Strong leadership skill and comfortable in managing at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Canadian Tire Corporation environment and interrelated business units an asset
