Qualifications:
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a cultural resources related field (or in progress), such as heritage, anthropology, etc.
- Well-demonstrated research and writing skills.
- Demonstrated dedication to following and promoting a strong health and safety culture.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Dedication to learning required laboratory skills under the direction of management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Conducting historic research.
- Cultural material analysis and cataloging.
- Familiarity with the Ontario Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Sport's heritage planning and archaeological legislation.
- Basic knowledge of the heritage planning process, including the identification of built heritage and/or cultural heritage landscapes.
