JOB SUMMARY:


Responsible for overseeing and planning loadouts, communicating with drivers, customers (internal and external), and dispatch, and assisting with deliveries and escalations.

Work with a team of supervisors to support the delivery teams and dispatch as needed and analyze, report, present, and continuously work towards improving all driver's KPI metrics and performance.

Provide outstanding customer service to drivers, clients, and customers.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Route distribution and delivery driver support.
  • Support billing functions related to deliveries and accurate billing by verifying invoices generated by the system.
  • Oversee loadouts of multiple sites, ensuring relevant information and performance metrics are shared.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients by responding to all their requests in a courteous and efficient manner.
  • Gather, analyze, and coordinate information to identify successes and failures in meeting KPI metrics, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Handle situations promptly with appropriate supporting documentation.
  • Investigate and respond promptly to missing or damaged items, claims, customer escalations, and calls from drivers, helpers, dispatchers, team members, and brokers.
  • Ensure delivery teams are following standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in internal Team meetings to review the previous week's results and action plans.
  • Prepare various reports for the supervisor/management team.
  • Oversee shared inboxes.
  • Promote a clean, safe, and positive work environment.
  • Other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:


  • Completion of secondary school or college or equivalent business administration experience is preferred.
  • Related logistics or delivery experience would be an asset.
