Description

As the successful applicant you will:

  • Have
  • 5 years of experience in payroll administration capacity
  • Be proficient in MS Office products such as MS Word and Excel
  • Maintain a level of confidentiality and discretion at all times
  • Have
excellent time management with a proven track record of meeting deadlines

  • Have
exceptional interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

  • Be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills
  • Previous experience with ADP WorkForce Now considered an asset

In this exciting role, you will:

  • Process bi-weekly, monthly and year-end payroll for salaried, hourly and commission based employees in a timely and accurate manner
  • Data entry of timesheets, supplemental and vacation requests
  • Provide highend customer service to employees regarding their pay and benefits queries
  • Administer the employee Group Benefit Plan including new hire setup, employee record maintenance and status changes
  • Reconciliation of recurring payroll and benefit accounts and statements
  • Maintain employee personnel files
  • Prepare T4s
  • Process ROE's
  • Respond in a timely manner to all internal and external requests and inquiries
  • Assist with the process and administration of WCB claims, OH&S training
  • Assist with the Onboarding process for new employees
  • Post job ads on online sites
