Rover Resident Manager - Various Buildings - Full Time - Hamilton ON

**You will be responsible to provide mainly maintenance services and some administrative duties to various properties located within the Hamilton area. The properties are ranging from high rise towers to mid
- or low-rise towers. The rover role will provide back-up to Resident Managers and will be filling in where there will be shortage of on-site staff. All duties will be performed with advanced schedule provided by the reporting manager.

Your overall responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

Customer Service

Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and public relations including all forms of communications with the residents
Work with the team to recommend modifications for service improvement, based on results or information obtained from the residents

Repairs & Maintenance

Able to perform painting and plaster repairs of common areas and insuite
Able to perform carpentry repairs
Able to perform minor electrical work (i.e., replace light fixtures, outlets, etc.)
Able to perform repairs and /or replacement of various type of flooring(vct, plank, ceramic, etc.)
Able to perform various repairs to commonareas and insuite (i.e. plumbing repairs)
On assigned schedule, able to travel from one location to another within the Hamilton area
On assigned schedule and for various periods of time, able to operate outside of Hamilton area
Knowledgeable of and able to assume Resident Manager tasks as assigned

Cleaning

Thorough cleaning of all common areas (i.e. lobbies, laundry room, hallways and corridors, staircases, elevator cabs, garbage rooms, etc.) including vacuuming and mopping of all floors and runners, dusting and wiping down furniture and laundry machines, and wiping of all windows, doors trims and baseboards using the appropriate supplies and equipment
Thorough cleaning of vacant units prior to a tenant moving in (i.e. floors are vacuumed and mopped, walls, baseboards, kitchen cabinetry, and appliances are dusted and wiped, mirrors, sinks and bathtubs are wiped, etc.)
Ensure common area light fixtures are dustfree and insectfree
Ensure the outdoor property grounds are free from any litter or debris including pet debris
Ensure garbage areas are kept in clean condition and garbage bins are picked up in a timely manner
Daily inspections of the property grounds

Your qualifications must include:

Minimum 1Year in Property Management in a high rise, low and midrise apartment building
Experience in minor Plumbing & Electrical (i.e. replacing light fixtures, replacing faucets and taps, etc.)
Experience in renovating apartments (i.e. installing various types of flooring, installing cabinetry/countertops, drywalling/plastering/priming/painting, cleaning, etc.)
Proficiency in all aspects of Office 365 including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, efficiently browsing the internet, and Property Management Software. YARDI is an asset.
Positive and friendly attitude with an approachable and professional demeanor while interacting with residents, coworkers, suppliers and service providers.
Highly organized, excellent time management skills, attentive to detail, can multitask and problem solve and can change priorities based on the business needs.
Have a valid Driver's License and Vehicle.
