The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supervising the front office team members to ensure efficient and smooth operations at the front desk to produce excellent feedback and guest satisfaction.


JOB DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Oversees that the front desk team works together delivering excellent customer service according to company policies, procedures and performance standards.
  • Assist and guide the front desk team through their daily duties and responsibilities
  • Maintain a positive work environment with the team.
  • Work closely with other departments and establish good working relationships to ensure the status of room cleanliness and everything in the room is in working order and without problems to meet the guest expectations
  • Follow up on special requests from guests to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Respond to guest complaints and concerns in a professional, courteous and timely manner and the outcome is satisfactory to the guest.
  • Assist in the training and development when onboarding new employees and retraining for existing team members
  • Adhere to all front office policies and procedures, company standards, collective agreements and the employee handbook including memos and oral instruction.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety policies and procedures and to work in a safe manner at all times.
  • A thorough knowledge of all the different room types and confidently describe the room set up and amenities in the rooms.
  • Provide up to date information on all of the services and facilities throughout the resort and the surrounding community.
  • May perform other duties and functions as assigned based on business levels throughout the resort and organizational changes as directed by the Owner, VP of Operations & General Manager and the Front Office Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Front Desk experience
  • Work experience in a supervisory customer service role
  • Very strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn and understand multiple software systems.
  • Strong knowledge in MS Word, Excel
  • Adaptable to a busy and fast paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
