Description

Responsibilities:


  • Oversee all aspects of the restaurant, including but not limited to, staffing, inventory management, customer service, and financial performance
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability
  • Hire, train, and supervise staff to ensure highquality service
  • Able to step in all service roles if required to
  • Create and maintain a positive work environment for all team members
  • Implement and enforce health and safety standards
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the chef to create and update the menu
  • Manage and control costs to ensure the restaurant operates within budget
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff members
  • Stay current on industry trends and best practices
  • Follow all protocols for WHMIS, HACCP, WSIB, Food Handler's, SmartServe and more

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a General Manager in the restaurant industry, at least 5 years as a General Manager
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of Italian cuisine and a passion for food
  • In Depth knowledge of Italian Wine Knowledge and Wine Service
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and make quick decisions
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
