We are seeking a highly flexible and organized individual to join our Finance team in a full-time capacity at our Victoria Office.

This role requires working onsite Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

_ What you will be accountable for_

  • Prepare biweekly payroll,
  • Manage time and attendance records and expense claims,
  • Manage the payables function, including credit card reconciliation,
  • Reporting on Work in Progress and invoicing,
  • Prepare payroll forms as required, including T4, T4A, T2200, and
  • Prepare government remittances, including source deductions and WCB,
  • Data entry in ERP system for related tasks,
  • Ad hoc report preparation for operations team, and
  • Other finance department tasks as assigned
Duties associated with this position may vary to meet evolving demands within the company.

What do you need to have_**- Minimum of 2 years Payroll Experience. Enrolment in the National Payroll Institute PCP program is considered an asset

  • Experience with accounting software and time and attendance software,
  • Offers quality services with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail,
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including word and Excel,
  • Growth mindset with an interest in process improvement and automation,
  • Ability to organize time to meet reporting deadlines,
  • Excellent communicator and able to assist staff with resolving issues,

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): Frequent standing and walking, Occasional bending, kneeling, carrying, and lifting.


Visa Requirements:
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Currently, we do not assist in securing Canadian work authorization or visa sponsorship.
