About The Opportunity


Are you someone with developing HR and administrative skills? Do you enjoy building relationships and working collaboratively in a team environment with both internal and external stakeholders? As someone with excellent communication skills and business acumen, you will thrive in our fun, professional and agile HR Consulting environment, RLB People.

In this role as an HR Administrator, you will be supporting the HR Consulting Manager and HR Consultants to ensure successful daily operations of the team by providing a variety of administrative tasks.


This will include, but is not limited to:

  • Maintaining the team calendar for RLB People.
  • Maintaining the electronic filing system
  • Working with the team on monthly billing processes
  • Preparing and creating engagement letters for client work
  • Supporting with HR consulting client projects through report formatting, proofreading, project management tasks, background research, presentation preparation and other activities
  • Scheduling, organizing and creating material for client training sessions.
  • Assisting in the recruitment process through drafting job postings, identifying recruitment strategies, liaising on social media campaigns, screening resumes, creating interview guides, scheduling interviews, conducting prescreens, creating offers, and coordinating references and criminal record checks where required.
  • Supporting the team in preparation for and attending speaking events and webinars
  • Drafting documentation such as termination letters, new hire contracts, orientation presentations, and training materials needed by the client
  • Participating in team meetings, ensuring our team is kept on track on current projects and timelines.
  • Proactively working on upcoming projects to ensure the team is ready when the project starts.
  • Overseeing the implementation and integration of new policies, procedures, tools, and strategies within the business unit.
  • Keeping up to date of industry trends, tools, practices, and advancements in technology in the area of HR consulting.

About You

  • You have 12 year's experience in HR administration or related experience. Professional service consulting firm experience would be considered an asset.
  • You have ninjalike organizational skills and can multitask and reprioritize like a pro
  • You have excellent computer skills and are comfortable working with Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • You have excellent attention to detail, a high regard for accuracy, and the ability to provide high quality work
  • You have strong interpersonal skills and a positive "cando" proactive attitude.
  • You have an exceptional commitment to selfdevelopment and ongoing learning and professional development.
