ABOUT THE POSITION


The Digital and Technology team is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst for our Canada Headquarters located in London, Ontario.


Reporting to the Manager, Digital User Support, you will contribute to and ensure the efficient and effective operation of the computer systems and equipment for HQ\Retail\Showrooms and mobile devices.


HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Provide support to Columbia staff by troubleshooting problems and maintaining printers, computers (both PC and Mac), mobility, telephone equipment and all other equipment used by Columbia personnel.
  • Check, evaluate, and inventory computer equipment on a regular basis.
  • Work with Retail Field Support and other Columbia Digital Technology groups as required.
  • Take ownership of all aspects of Service Desk tickets including working directly with staff, documenting problems and/or solutions and updating and closing tickets as issues are resolved.

YOU ARE

  • Confident in speaking to groups of varying sizes and levels in the role of instructor or trainer.
  • Proficient in Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, OneDrive)
  • Able to analyze/troubleshoot and translate technical concepts in order to create innovative solutions
  • Able to cope with a potentially stressful work environment while at the same time maintaining professionalism that contributes to a team environment.

YOU HAVE

  • Postsecondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Five years of experience in Information Services or 710 years applicable experience.
  • Advanced working knowledge of PC's, network connectivity, midrange computer operations
  • Experience with Microsoft Teams Room and other audio video technologies are a plus
