Medical Office Assistant-Aspire Medicine-Family MedicineDuties:
- Greet and checkin patients, ensuring accurate and uptodate information
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and assist with patient inquiries
- Maintain patient records and update electronic medical records
- Assist with billing and insurance claims processing
- Prepare examination rooms for patient visits
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs and collecting specimens
- Assist healthcare providers with administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar healthcare setting is necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and insurance practices
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, Med Access prefered
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
- Familiarity with phone systems and ability to handle high call volumes

Salary:
$18.00-$19.00 per hour
