Precision Well Servicing is currently seeking a
Talent Acquisition Supervisor to join our team
Precision Well Servicing operates the largest fleet of service rigs in Canada, offering a wide range of products focused upon delivering a safe, high-quality service to our customers.
The Talent Acquisition Supervisor is a key member of the team and will directly contribute to Precision's High Performance, High Value offerings by ensuring our recruitment strategies attract and retain experienced, competent Well Servicing field hands.
This position works closely with the Personnel Team Leads, functional leaders, and sales to understand the needs of the business and develop strategies to address staffing shortages through the use of resourcing needs analysis, recruitment market trends analysis, and recruitment metrics.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership to the Recruitment team
- Understand Precision's hiring needs based on actual and forecasted information as well as YOY trends
- Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business
- Oversee and participate in the execution of recruiting strategies
- Monitor recruitment related metrics and costs
- Assist Recruiters and Personnel Coordinators with fullcycle recruitment.
- Ensure Precision Well Servicing's policies and applicable legislation are followed consistently
- Attend job fairs and other recruitmentrelated events
- Identify and recommend improvement opportunities to ensure best recruitment practices are being utilized at all times, based on market conditions and business needs
- Assisting with onboarding and training of new Recruitment Specialists
- Additional duties of a similar nature, as assigned
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years oil & gas recruitment experience in hourly recruitment, or a similar industry
- Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) or working towards a CPHR designation
- Postsecondary education in human resource and/or marketing considered an asset
- Ability to lead and perform within a setting where change happens frequently
- Team oriented and able to work with a variety of team members at all levels within the Company
- Previous experience working with a graphic design tool
- Detail oriented, focused on quality results and ontime deliverables
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
Working Conditions & Requirements:
This position is an office role based out of either Nisku or Red Deer, and does require some travel to attend job fairs and meetings throughout Alberta.
