    Heidelberg Materials is looking for a reliable, safety-conscious, and trustworthy Millwright to join our local team. As a Millwright, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on all site mechanical equipment to ensure the plant operates smoothly and efficiently.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical systems and related equipment.
    • Conduct field equipment inspections to ensure safe and proper functioning.
    • Identify and resolve irregularities, address malfunctions.
    • Anticipate issues and suggest enhancements.
    • Utilize machining tools for part fabrication.
    • Execute routine maintenance on all site mechanical equipment.
    • Refer to manufacturers' manuals for maintenance guidelines.
    • Ensure adherence to safety, environmental regulations, and company policies.

    Desired Qualifications

    • Experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing setting
    • Valid interprovincial or Red Seal Millwright certification
    • Thorough understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    • Ability to interpret mechanical schematics, drawings, and blueprints
    • Effective problem-solving skills using suitable tools or systems
    • Proficiency in computer usage
    • Aptitude for lifting and handling heavy objects, occasionally over 75 lbs.
    • Capable of working indoors and outdoors in diverse weather conditions
    • Physical capabilities for lifting, kneeling, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and working at heights or in confined spaces
