The Opportunity (Role Summary)

Summary

We are seeking a motivated DevOps co-op/intern who will assist in supporting the Development team, as needed, with their day-to-day responsibilities.

This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing software engineering/development.

What you will do (Responsibilities
)

The base responsibility

Develop and maintain scripts to support the automation of the build, test, and deployment processes.
Implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Learn and use cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure
Help develop and maintain documentation on DevOps processes and procedures.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in DevOps and cloud infrastructure.

**What You'll need (Required Qualifications
)

Formal Education or Equivalent

Pursuing Diploma and/or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
High academic achievement along with demonstrated ability to pursue other interests at the same time
Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to confidently interact with all levels within the organization
A selfstarter with the ability to plan work to meet objectives, set priorities and manage work schedule
Comfortable with CI/CD integrations
Comfortable working with AWS or Azure Cloud

Familiar with programming languages such as Python, Java or others
Basic knowledge of cloud computing
Basic understanding of security best practices
