About Us
The Shoreline Power Group is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and AtkinsRéalis located in Kincardine, Ontario.

Shoreline Power Group is the centerpiece of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) program which replaces the main components of 6 reactors at the Bruce Power Nuclear Generating Station.

The scope of work includes the removal and replacement of calandria tubes, pressure tubes, and feeders as well as construction management and trade labor.

This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.


The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a fully integrated Joint Venture of Aecon, United and Framatome, located in Kincardine, Ontario.

SGRT is a part of the Major Component Replacement (MCR) project and includes the removal of the steam generators at Unit 3 and 4 and the installation of replacement steam generators with related plant modifications.

This project is part of Bruce Power's Life Extension Program, which will allow Bruce Power's CANDU units to continue to operate safely through to 2064.

In addition to the existing contracts for Unit 3 and Unit 4, SGRT has signed a long-term Preferred Supplier Agreement for steam generator replacements at the plant's remaining units as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.


The Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Manager, reporting to the EHS & Hu Director, will be responsible for managing a team of EHS Advisors that will be engaged in the development, implementation, and auditing of the Safety Program for the Projects.


What You'll Do Here

  • Provide leadership, direction, and guidance to the EHS department and line management in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of EHS management systems and processes
  • Oversee and develop Employee environment, health and safety orientation and Sitespecific environment, health and safety orientation to workers, owners, and clients
  • Mentor supervisors and staff on Aecon Health, Safety and Environmental Manual
  • Ensure that such critical systems to the EHS Management System, such as FMEA, JHA's, JARR cards, BBO's, Inspections, and audits are completed as required on the projects
  • Ensure effective risk mitigation plans are in place such as environmental management, emergency preparedness/response plans, communication plans, etc. are continuously developed, maintained, and implemented properly
  • Oversee, monitor, conduct and facilitate behavioral observation in the workplace
  • Develop and facilitate EHS presentations to clients
  • Participate in the Joint Health and Safety Committees
  • Ensure accidents/incidents are recognized and investigated in a timely/valued manner by providing leadership and direction in all facets of training, reporting, investigation, and analysis
  • Provide measures of loss and risk management improvement through accident/incident trend analysis to support annual performance targets
