Payroll / HR Coordinator - Kitchener, Canada - Golden Windows
Description
Position Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing weekly payroll for all employees using Payworks
- Resolving payrollrelated issues/inquires; maintaining accurate employee records; issuing ROE's and employment verification letters as required
- Processing year end T4s
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive employee records
- Assisting with the development of policy and procedures
- Maintaining HR databases and reporting on key metrics
- Benefit/RSP plan and training program administration
- Assisting Group Leaders/Managers with the annual performance review process
- Providing support with all steps of the recruitment process
- Social event planning and participation on committee
- Completing projects to advance HR strategic goals
- Other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree/diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent
- 12 years of Payroll and Human Resources experience
- CHRP designation or working towards completion preferred
- Certification as a Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP) is considered an asset
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Exceptional customer service
